Asian Nursing Scholarship 2026

Selwa is pleased to announce the fully funded Asian Nursing Scholarship (ANS), offering a 3-year full-time Diploma in Nursing in Singapore.

This prestigious scholarship provides recipients with the opportunity to pursue a rewarding career in healthcare, with employment in one of Singapore’s public healthcare institutions for 6 years upon completion of the program.

Any candidate between 18 to 25 years of age.

  3. A Place to Call Home
    • Accommodation is provided for your 1st and 2nd year in Singapore
    • If accommodation isn’t available, you’ll receive a monthly housing allowance of SGD 350 for the 1st and 2nd year
    • If you choose to stay elsewhere (with parental consent), just know that no additional housing allowance will be given
  4. Final-Year Housing Support – In Year 3, you’ll get a monthly subsidy of SGD 500 so you can stay closer to the hospital you’re assigned to
  5. Monthly Allowance of
    • SGD 720 per month for your 1st & 2nd year
    • SGD 750 per month in your 3rd year
  6. Full medical and hospitalization benefits
  7. Insurance Coverage
  8. Homecoming Ticket – Once you complete your studies, we’ll provide a return ticket home 
  9. A Globally Recognized Nursing Certificate – Once you graduate, you’ll be certified by the Singapore Nursing Board—and that certification is recognized worldwide
  10. Upon graduation, you’ll officially receive your full Nursing Certificate and step into a rewarding career in one of Singapore’s Public Healthcare Institutions with a starting salary of SGD 2,700 +++

Scholarship Conditions

Scholarship Termination

MOH Holdings Pte Ltd, Singapore reserves the right to terminate the scholarship agreement immediately if the scholar:

  1. Commits a serious offense – This includes being convicted of a criminal offense or found guilty of professional misconduct or negligence
  2. Fails to meet academic expectations – This means abandoning the course, having consistently poor performance (such as a GPA below 2.0 for two consecutive semesters), or other factors like pregnancy that may impact completion
  3. Works part-time – Your focus should be on excelling in your studies and training. This scholarship fully supports you, so no need for side jobs!
  4. Expulsion – Being expelled from the course or polytechnic would unfortunately mean an early end to the scholarship
  5. Is unable to serve as a nurse – (unfortunately that can also be due to medical conditions)
  6. Cannot be employed in Singapore – Employment eligibility is a key part of this scholarship, and scholars must be able to work in Singapore after graduation
  7. Is dismissed from employment – If a scholar is unable to uphold professional standards and is dismissed from their nursing role, the scholarship will be terminated

Liquidated Damages (LD)

If a scholar is unable to fulfil the terms of the scholarship, both the Scholar and their Sureties will be jointly responsible for repaying the total expended benefits

These include:

  1. Administrative costs – All the behind-the-scenes support that makes this opportunity possible
  2. Maintenance allowance – The monthly stipend provided during your studies
  3. Airfare – Travel costs to and from Singapore
  4. Housing benefits – Any accommodation assistance received
  5. English course fees – If applicable, support for language training
  6. Medical benefits – Healthcare coverage provided throughout the course
  7. Tuition fees & tuition grant – The full cost of your nursing diploma
  8. Uniform

Additionally, a 10% per annum interest will be applied starting from your arrival date, compounded at the end of each academic year until the course is either completed or terminated.
